Douglas Davis, BLUE SHOE SLIDE, 2000-2006, 3/5.


First exhibited in Copen- hagen, The Media Center in 2001. Performance by Lucia Blue of the U. of Zurich, Switzerland, now Ph.d in Business Administration representing Sony in Paris.. Photography and digital rendering by DD. Edition of five published in Denmark, in collections of The Media Center and Elizabeth C. Baker. Available through Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Irene Nikolai Gallery, the artist, and Robert Ransom. One on-of-a-kind in larger scale on foam board with collaged element in preparation.

Mr. Davis' work are collected by museums and collectors across the world, including all the major NYC museums (including the Met, the Whitney, the Guggenheim, and MOMA. Among his private collectors are George Waterman 3, Barbara Schwartz, Gilbert Silverman, and Ray Nasher (in Dallas). Abroad his works have been collected and featured by Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Musee d'art daville, also in Paris, the Kupferstichkabinet in Berlin, the Museum Sztuki in Poland, the Tate Gallery and Victoria & Albert, both in London.
